Partner, Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Johnson brings years of experience in Emergency Medicine to the organization.  Completing medical school and residency in Emergency Medicine at UAMS in 1999, Dr. Johnson has devoted his professional life to patient care.  He has served as an emergency medicine director and regional medical director in Arkansas and other Southeastern states.   As an Arkansas state representative, Dr. Johnson brings knowledge and experience in the legislative process, adding his expertise to NewGen Emergency Medicine’s mission.

A proud resident of Greenwood, Arkansas, Dr. Johnson contributes to his community in multiple ways, along with his wife, Jennifer, who is a local physician.  Outside of work, he enjoys time outdoors and spending time with his family.
