We are committed to community healthcare, combining industry expertise with a passion for bringing quality emergency care to underrepresented regions.
Greg Tillery
Partner
For over two decades, Greg has been dedicated to Physician Practice management, handling a variety of roles with a single company. His responsibilities have spanned all operations-related matters, including provider recruiting and management, contract negotiations, team building, and client relationships. Greg's focus has always been Emergency Medicine, primarily for smaller facilities, with additional experience in Hospital Medicine and Anesthesia and supporting larger 500+ bed hospitals. The establishment of NewGen Emergency Medicine is the realization of a long-held dream for Greg, who believes there's a need in this industry for an honest, straightforward service delivered efficiently and effectively. He and his team are committed to providing high-quality healthcare services, reflecting their dedication and work-life balance.
Greg has lived in Pensacola, FL, his entire life and graduated with a bachelor's degree from Florida State University. In his spare time, Greg enjoys spending time with his two daughters and wife, Dana, traveling, and mountain biking.
Andy Scoggins
Partner
Andy's career in physician practice management spans over 25 years, during which he transitioned from financial management to operations. He started in the financial area, managing everything from payroll to new business analysis to budgeting, and then progressed to operations. Eventually, he became the Executive Vice-President of the community hospital division, responsible for 150+ clients in 30+ states with a staff of more than 60. His primary area of focus was emergency medicine, with additional experience in hospital medicine and anesthesia. Coming from a small town in Mississippi and ready for something new and more meaningful, he realized his vision for NewGen Emergency Medicine, bringing a more personal, collaborative approach to the community and rural hospital market where relationships and your word should mean something.
Andy graduated from Mississippi State University with a bachelor's and master's degree in accounting in 1995. He married his wife, Jennipher, in 1996. Andy and Jennipher have three boys, and when he has a spare moment from the chaos, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.
Michael Anderson
Regional Director of Operations
Michael, a seasoned Army officer, brings 15 years of direct leadership and management experience from the military and across the healthcare industry, from hospital-based services to ambulatory surgery centers and outpatient rehabilitative clinics. His expertise in recruitment, day-to-day healthcare operations, and experience in healthcare revenue cycle management enables him to partner with our community hospital administrative leaders and client partners to provide a best-in-class service.
Michael holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Mississippi State University. In his free time, he enjoys boating and spending time with his wife and three kids.
Midge Tandy
Regional Director of Operations
Midge has spent 17+ years in Emergency Medicine, focusing on physician management and recruiting. She is a forward thinker with an impressive record of developing and implementing specific needs for staffing hospitals. Relationships are key in Midge's world; she has always maintained long-standing ones. Responsiveness, caring, and willingness to help are the qualities that have made her relationships strong. She is a good communicator who interacts effectively at all organizational levels. Midge excels in meeting the ever-changing needs of community hospitals and considers herself a fully engaged team member for her clients.
Midge earned her bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of West Florida. She and her husband have two rescue dogs, Della and Tobasco. She enjoys being on the water or reading a good book in her free time.
Allison Colwell
Director, Medical Staff Services
Allison has 18 years of healthcare experience and brings with her knowledge in credentialing, enrollment, and operations. Skilled and knowledgeable in administration, Allison has diverse experience organizing, guiding, and monitoring client services in a professional environment. She uses these skills to support the mission of providing a high level of services to the community and rural hospitals we support.
Allison earned a bachelor's degree in science and arts from Florida State University and a master's degree in public administration from the University of West Florida. In her spare time, I enjoy traveling with family and spending time with my friends.
